Craigs take podium at The Canadian Shield

The 2nd stop of The Canadian Shield was held at Mount Seymour in North Vancouver, BC, and was postponed until Sunday morning due to heavy snow fall Friday and Saturday. That didn't stop Craig Beaulieu from getting the win and needing his 3rd run to secure it, while Craig McMorris took 3rd. Congrats!!

Snowboarder Magazine's 2011 Wax Test - 3rd Place

This was the first time BeaverWax has entered the wax test and knowing that we have given far less advertising dollars to the magazine ($0 to be exact) than our competitors, we were unsure of the outcome. Here is how it went.
Snowboarder Magazine's wax testing used a 150 foot long straight patch of snow. The first 100 feet consisted of a mellow, continuous-pitch slope and the last 50 feet was a flat run-out. This was to give the waxes ample time to build up speed and then see how it held speed across the flat out-run. Each wax was given 3 runs and all times were averaged out. Here are the results. (Thanks to Snowboarder Magazine and Axis Media)
